1. Ugembula Ngathi Season 1

Host Tshepo Maseko (Saints and Sinners) meets families who feel betrayed thanks to how a loved one’s gambling habits are affecting their security, and their pockets. In each episode, someone from South African Responsible Gambling (contact 0800 006 008 for counselling) will offer their professional view of the situation, give the family support resources, and offer options to start on a path to healing. But will the gambler be able to step back from the table or betting sites?

2. Coming soon: Kwanele Bazali Season 1

Host Motlatsi Mafatshe (It’s Complicated) steps up to help families who’re stuck in conflicts they blame on their parents – from silent standoffs between siblings, to long-standing feuds among cousins. Motlatsi will help both parents and children to explore the roots of their issues, reach an understanding about the truth and everyone’s emotions, and find a way forward to mend ties and restore unity. Family is too important to let bad blood get in the way.

3. Most Wanted Season 2

Host Themba Lukhele (founder of the Skeem GP Foundation and an ex-con who committed cash-in-transit heists) and the Most Wanted team chase down jail breakers, bail skippers and arrest-warrant dodgers. Themba takes us along as he speaks to witnesses and victims about the crime, and any leads they have to the suspects’ whereabouts. Then it’s time for a face-to-face confrontation before Themba calls in the cops to make an arrest. Watch as Themba confronts a hitman this season!

4. Coming soon: Fake Marriage Season 3

In one of Moja Love’s most shocking intervention series, host Sihle Sibisi (CEO and founder of the Kwanele Foundation) investigates and exposes marital fraud. Together with her bodyguards, she confronts men in the street to expose those who’ve coerced South African women into marriage before abandoning them and their responsibilities as soon as they’ve gotten what they wanted, including immigration papers. Sihle and her team are determined to get those divorce papers signed and sealed.

5. Coming soon: No Excuse Pay Papgeld Season 11

With single mothers carrying the lion’s share of the responsibilities and expenses involved in raising children, on top of tackling the mountains of legal paperwork needed to claim maintenance, making a monthly payment is the very least a walkaway father can do. So where the courts fail and men dodge and duck, host Tumelo Matlala and the cameras are  back to chase them down and shake them until their pockets jingle, whether it’s their wedding day, or any other day.

6. X-Repo Season 15

Does someone have your stuff and they won’t give it back? You don’t have to get a lawyer. 7. Bad Girls Bootcamp Season 1

It’s hard to shake a dodgy reputation! Six women who’ve been branded bad girls go on a retreat to a bootcamp together. They’ll get space to uncover the roots of the choices they make, explore their boundaries and self-respect, and come to grips with how their actions impact the people around them. And we’ll be the fly on the wall as they work out how to live together when everyone in the house is the main character.

8. Eyamadoda Season 1

Three-time SAFTA winner Manaka Ranaka (Stokvel, Generations: The Legacy) hosts this intervention show centred on conversations between the stepfathers who’ve stepped up, and the biological fathers who’ve ghosted. The series spotlights the real work involved in being a father, including the financial responsibility, cultural and spiritual rites, and their loving, guiding presence in children’s lives as they serve as examples of positive masculinity. Expect some heated confrontations, truth bombs, and healing.

9. Izinkomo Zamalobolo Season 5

Prepare for some cultural reflection on lobola practices as beloved host Polelo Mthombeni takes us inside families who’ve reached a stalemate in negotiations. With decency and respect, Polelo uncovers the facts on both sides as he helps to arbitrate reimbursement and restitution when family members break their lobola agreements. Whatever the case, he’ll work on it until the cows come home.

10. Married at First Sight Mzansi Season 2

Experts play matchmaker behind the scenes to pair four grooms and four brides in their 30s who’ll see each other for the first time ever at the altar. After the wedding, they’ll have six weeks to decide whether they want to stay together or split – with the help of marriage and relationship coach Linda Yende; conflict resolution expert Khanyi Yende; counselor Thabang Mashego; gynaecologist and sexologist Dr Mpume Zenda; and marriage officiator and counselor Pastor Xolani Hlitana.
