Our message to share: A week of African renewal with the Kwibuka 28 Pop-Up Channel (DStv Channel 197), 7-13 April

Remember, unite and renew with the Kwibuka 28 Pop-Up Channel

Thursday, 7 April 2022 is the 28th commemoration of the Rwandan genocide against the Tutsi people. DStv will be sharing the Kwibuka 28 Pop-Up Channel (DStv Channel 197) across the African continent to spread the spirit of memory, unity and renewal.

Kwibuka means remember. And in Rwanda, commemoration means honouring the community that was lost through working together on special projects as a means of healing, and creating a peaceful and beautiful country for the future. Kwibuka 28 will spread this message through live events, talk shows, youth features and children’s programming, and inspiring first-person messages to educate and inform.

In the lead up to the holiday season, embrace healing and African unity with Kwibuka 28, free to all DStv subscribers from Premium through to Access.
