Season 1 of Inimba saw Hlathi (Sisa Hewana) and Zoleka (Lunathi Mampofu) rekindle their romance after years of being apart, which threatened his marriage with his wife Thumeka (Zenande Mfenyana), who is also Zoleka’s cousin. Hlathi was split between the two women, questioning whether he would consider polygamy. This wasn’t the case as he remained married to Thumeka.
