1. Coming soon: Black Bag

 

Spy thriller. National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) counterintelligence officer George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender) is given just one week to find out who leaked the code for a top-secret software program. So he invites four key suspects – satellite imagery specialist Clarissa (Marisa Abela), her boyfriend and case officer Freddie (Tom Burke), counterintelligence officer James (Regé-Jean Page) and his girlfriend Zoe (Naomie Harris), who is the NCSC’s staff psychiatrist – to dinner at his place with the fifth suspect…his wife, Kathryn (Cate Blanchett).

2. Caddo Lake

Sci-fi thriller produced by M Night Shyamalan. What is the secret of Caddo Lake? When Ellie (Eliza Scanlen) searches the lakebed for her stepsister Anna (Caroline Falk), she travels back in time to the night of Anna’s disappearance. But soon after they reunite, Ellie time-jumps again, this time to the month when Anna “ran away”. And they’re not the only ones lost in time. Paris (Dylan O'Brien), a former boyfriend of Ellie’s mom Celeste (Lauren Ambrose), is also seeking answers.

3. Love Hurts

 

Action comedy. Successful estate agent Marvin (Ke Huy Quan) is forced back into his secret former life as an assassin when Rose (Ariana DeBose), the lawyer he fell in love with and allowed to escape after she stole from his estranged brother Alvin (Daniel Wu), comes out of hiding. As Marvin tries to take control of the situation, his work assistant Ashley (Lio Tipton) falls in love with Raven (Mustafa Shakir), the poetry-writing assassin who’s been sent to find Rose.

4. Conclave

This thriller, which predated the death of Pope Francis in April 2025, takes viewers inside the highly secretive world of Vatican politics. Cardinal-Dean Thomas Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) assembles the Vatican’s College of Cardinals to elect a new pope. As four lead candidates emerge – Aldo Bellini (Stanley Tucci), Joshua Adeyemi (Lucian Msamati), Goffredo Tedesco (Sergio Castellitto), and Joseph Tremblay (John Lithgow) – so will their secrets. And one was fired for gross misconduct the day of the previous pope’s death!

5. Den of Thieves: Pantera

Enemies become allies in this sequel to the 2018 action-heist hit Den of Thieves – or is that what they want you to think? Detective “Big Nick” O’Brien (Gerard Butler) has a bruised ego and a plot up his sleeve when he tracks down heist mastermind Donnie Wilson (O’Shea Jackson Jr), and convinces Donnie that he’s gone rogue. Will Donnie let Nick join his crew for the ultimate caper – an attack on the impenetrable World Diamond Centre in Nice, France?

6. Coming soon: Alarum

Joe (Scott Eastwood) and Lara (Willa Firzgerald) are rivals with different spy agencies until they fall in love during a mission and decide to escape their lives, disappear off the grid, get married, and live happily ever after. But their scheme backfires when a plane carrying a top secret hard drive crashes near their cabin in Gdańsk, and trigger-happy agents descend to get their hands on it. 7. Cleaner

British action thriller directed by Martin Campbell (famous for James Bond films like Casino Royale). High-rise window cleaner and former soldier Joey Locke (Daisy Ridley) sees environmental activist group Earth Revolution, led by Marcus Blake (Clive Owen), attack the Agnian Energy Company shareholder gala, taking hostages. Joey isn’t just shocked by the violence, but by seeing her colleague Noah (Taz Skylar) take charge of the attackers … and realising that her autistic brother Michael (Matthew Tuck) has followed her to work.

8. The International

Inspired by the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) scandal during the 1980s, this thriller started filming in 2008, just before the 2008 global financial crisis! Interpol detective Louis Salinger (Clive Owen) and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman (Naomi Watts) investigate the International Bank of Business and Credit (IBBC) and its secret role in bankrolling global money laundering, terrorism, arms trading, and undermining governments. But BCCI is ready to fight back, and fight dirty.

9. The Secret Life of Pets

Animated comedy. What do our pets get up to while we’re at work? While his owner, Katie (Ellie Kemper) is away, Max (Louis CK) rubs noses with the other animals in their building. But his jealousy over his newly adopted “brother” Duke (Eric Stonestreet) lands the two dogs out on the street, on the run from Animal Control agents and a gang of sewer-dwelling animals called The Flushed Pets. Can they make it home before Katie does?

10. Paddington 2

Live action comedy with Ben Whishaw voicing Paddington. Who would frame a marmalade sandwich-loving bear like Paddington for the heinous crime of stealing a popup book? Come forward now; we just want to talk. While the Brown family work to catch the real culprit – with actor and master of disguise Phoenix Buchanan (Hugh Grant) as their prime suspect – Paddington serves his 10-year sentence until, convinced that the Browns have abandoned him, he agrees to take part in a prison break.
