1. #Uncut: Uthando Nes’Thembu

Musa Mseleku’s production company, Thanx Ma Productions, and Rawkraft Media, take us inside the untold stories of South Africa’s highest-profile polygamous family – Musa and his four wives, MaCele, MaYeni, MaNgwabe and MaKhumalo, along with fifth wife, MaKhwela, who joined the family in 2025. Each of the six episodes will focus on one major storyline, from MaYeni’s emotional confessions and Musa and MaKhumalo’s strained relationship to Musa’s struggle to preserve his family, and the rising tension between the wives.

2. The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa

Africa’s most extra, most iconic Housewives – Annie, Angel and Jojo (Durban), Madam and Christall (Joburg), Dr Catherine and Zena (Nairobi), Princess Jecoco (Abuja), and Mariam (Lagos) – are on the prowl in Rio with all the energy of Nairobi, the glamour of Lagos, and the bold charm of Mzansi. This cross-cultural sisterhood will share their world and their stories as new friendships – and fights – form over cocktails, sunshine, salsa and samba lessons, and manhunting safaris in Brazil.

3. Big Brother Mzansi: The Special

This five-episode special reunites fan-favourite Housemates from BB Mzansi Seasons 4 and 5, including Umlilo’s master strategist Akhonamathemba “Sweet Guluva” Mbele, Umlilo’s Mata “Rainbow” Mashila, and Siyamosha’s victorious Siphephelo “McJunior” Zondi. For the first time in history, they’ll confront the past, spill secrets, settle scores, and catch up on life outside the House. Host Smash Afrika will also lead Season 6, which kicks off on Sunday, 11 January 2026 on the dedicated Big Brother Mzansi Channel 198.

4. Let's Go 50-50

Couples at war over chores? Help is on the way! Napo Modise and Nhlanhla Mdluli are here to guide husbands and wives in figuring out how to share their needs and responsibilities at home, at work, at the bank, in the bedroom, and with the kids before differing values and expectations can split the marriage. Where life has become a power struggle, Napo and Nhlanhla are hoping that two men can bring peace and fairness to partnership. Hit it, guys!

5. You Promised to Marry Me

Ready for the confrontation station? Here’s a show with everything but the ring! Emotions run high as people who feel betrayed by partners who failed to honour their promise of marriage share their stories with host Moshe Ndiki, who helps them to seek answers, closure, and accountability from those who broke their hearts. But do your cardio first, because sometimes when a promise-breaker sees the cameras coming, they run like there’s an 80% off sale at the shebeen.

6. Women of Steel

In 2017 Lerato Manaka was sentenced to 12 years in prison for fraud. She qualified for early release in 2020, and has since turned her life around. Now she’s using her experiences of struggling to find work, and rebuilding shattered trust, to take us inside the lives of a group of women ex-convicts, as they take their first steps back into the world. And they’ll open up to Lerato about the situations that led them to turn to crime.

7. uWrong

South Africa's social grants are meant to cover a host of basic needs, including childcare, education, healthcare, clothing, supervision and support for the elderly and physically and mentally disabled. But the money doesn’t always go where it’s needed, and we’re about to find out why. Presenter Vee Mthembu and the uWrong cameras are here to chase down SASSA cards that have fallen into the wrong hands, leading to hunger, struggle and even people turning to loan sharks.

8. Being a Xaba

Welcome inside the lives of a KZN family trying to find common ground. 61-year-old bishop Vusi Jabulani “VJ” Xaba is a little more challenged than most dads, with 22 (and counting) children to keep track of, and a new 28-year-old wife, who’s younger than some of those kids. After a flotilla of step-mothers coming in and out, VJ has work to do to examine his past behaviour and earn forgiveness so he can unite his children as a family.

9. Umndeni Somnala

Polygamy reality series Umndeni takes us inside the life of King Dr HQ SoMnala (Inkandla-born Hamilton Qhoshangokwakhe Nala), the First Citizen of the World of Plenty and the Progenator of the Plentian Nation. Aside from his ministry, King Dr HQ SoMnala runs a school, owns a radio station and a funeral parlour, and operates both a logistics company and a security company. And at home, he needs to make time for nine wives and 22 children.

10. Buyela Ekhaya 

Yizo Yizo star Innocent Masuku (who played drug addict Bobo and lost a promising career to addiction himself) explores second chances as he hits the streets to meet people who’re living unhoused. As they share their stories, they’ll reveal why they believe that they can never return home – whether from shame, or because of conflict, abuse or fear. We’ll also hear their family’s side of the story as the Buyela Ekhaya team searches for common ground and compassion.
