1. The Pitt Season 1

This medical drama series just raked in 13 Emmy nominations! Each of the 15 episodes takes place in “real-time” during the same day at the underfunded Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital's emergency room, where Dr Michael "Robby" Robinavitch (former ER star Noah Wyle) welcomes four newcomers to the staff on the anniversary of his mentor’s death during the Covid-19 pandemic. They’ll have to tackle everything from a mass shooting to an overcrowded waiting room that never clears.

2. Coming soon: Watson Season 1

House and Sherlock Holmes fans, how about a medical drama series centred on the great detective’s trusty companion? Morris Chestnut plays Dr John Watson, a former consulting detective who now heads the Holmes Clinic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he puts the techniques of investigation and observation that he learned from his late friend Sherlock (voiced by Matt Berry) into practice diagnosing patients. Meanwhile, the evil genius Moriarty (Randall Park) keeps tabs on his work from the shadows.

3. Plastic Surgery Rewind Season 1

Plastic surgeon Dr Terry Dubrow, body image expert Dr Spirit, and RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage host this reality series in which some famous clients look into having their cosmetic treatments reversed. Guests include actress and Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day, who wants to dissolve her facial filler, RHOAtlanta star Kim Zolciak, YouTuber Sebastian Bails, and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star Jessica Dime, who’s worried that toning down her look will see her fan numbers drop, too.

4. Doc Season 1

Medical drama series. Dr Amy Larsen (Molly Parker), Chief of Internal Medicine at Westside Hospital, wakes up after a car accident having lost eight years of her memory, including her divorce from husband Chief Medical Officer Dr Michael Hamda (Omar Metwally); the death of their child; her secret affair with Chief Resident Dr Jake Heller (Jon Ecker); and the reason most of the staff despise her. Inspired by the true story of Italian doctor Pierdante Piccioni.

5. Dexter: Original Sin Season 1

Crime drama prequel to the Dexter serial killer series. Twenty-year-old Dexter Morgan (Patrick Gibson, with the original Dexter Michael C Hall acting as series narrator) graduates at the top of his class in medical school before deciding that his true gifts lie not with the living, but with the dead. He joins the Miami Metro Police Department as a forensic intern while his adoptive dad, Detective Harry Morgan (Christian Slater), secretly trains him to cover his tracks and pick the “right” victims.

6. St Denis Medical Season 1

Medical workplace mockumentary created by The Office and Superstore co-executive producer Justin Spitzer (also a on-time writer on medical comedy series Scrubs). Staff at an underfunded and short-staffed hospital in Oregon try their best to stay sane while dealing with both the public and the paperwork nightmare created by a predatory health insurance industry. With Wendi McLendon-Covey as Joyce, the boss of St Denis Medical, David Alan Grier as ER physician Ron, and Allison Tolman as nurse Alex.

7. Chicago Med Season 10

Drama series set in the emergency department of the Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre. Aside from juggling personal drama, Lenox (Sarah Ramos) and Archer’s (Steven Weber) battle for control of the ED, and mass casualty events, the doctors and nurses must navigate medical, ethical and social issues. This season, Director of Patient and Medical Services Sharon Goodwin (S Epatha Merkerson) fights for her life after being attacked by a stalker. Episode 11 features a crossover with Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.

8. Cornwall Air 999 Season 2

This British documentary-reality series takes us on rescue flights with air ambulance crews of Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, as they save lives across the coastal landscapes of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. In 10 thrilling life-or-death episodes that rival medical drama series, the crews are called to help a surfer who’s having a heart attack, a climber who’s fallen in a remote area, road accident victims, and a person who’s had a dangerous fall during a thunderstorm.

9. Anatomy of Lies Season 1

As the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital piled on the trauma on screen, Elisabeth Finch, one of the show’s writers, shared her own struggles on the Shondaland production blog. She wrote about her rare bone cancer chondrosarcoma, her friend’s murder in the 2018 Tree of Life synagogue massacre, the family secret that drove her brother to take her own life, and more. It was all a lie. This true crime series explores how she kept up her 10-year deception.

10. Inside Our Minds Season 2

In this two-episode 2025 follow-up to his documentary on Autism, Chris Packham explores the minds of people with two other kinds of neurodivergence: ADHD and dyslexia. Chris collaborates with two people who have ADHD to develop special short films that explain the condition, along with the often invisible impact it has on their lives. Then Chris meets with two dyslexic people to help their families to understand what they’re going through – even if it takes putting on a musical performance!
