Payments FAQs

To make a DStv bill payment using PayShap, you need to have a bank account with one of the participating banks. Follow these steps:

1. Open the banking app linked to your account.
2. Search for PayShap as a payment option.
3. Select PayShap and initiate a payment.
4. Enter the DStv ShapID (e.g., DStv-<id>@investec).
   i. The ID in the proxy of the ShapID can be your DStv customer ID, DStv smartcard number, or your South African National ID.
5. Enter the amount you wish to pay (minimum ZAR 20.00).
6. Proceed to make the payment.
7. You will be directed to a page showing the success or failure of the payment.
