About the Show
Former Marine Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Shemar Moore) runs a specialised weapons and tactical unit (S.W.A.T) in Los Angeles that takes the cases too dangerous for the LAPD cops to touch. The series examines the real-life tensions between the police and the African American community and police brutality protests in 2020/2021, along with the pressures that the COVID-19 pandemic has placed on society.
