Team Sayari Returns to National Geographic Wild

Team Sayari, the popular youth-led conservation series, has returned to National Geographic Wild (DStv Channel 182) with a brand-new instalment, Team Sayari: A Journey Beyond. The series continues its mission of inspiring young viewers across Africa to embrace environmental conservation and become the next generation of eco-champions. Airing on Saturdays at 13:00 CAT on National Geographic Wild, each compact 5-minute episode is designed to engage young audiences with dynamic stories of environmental discovery and responsibility.

Building on the success of the original series, Team Sayari: A Journey Beyond follows a team of passionate young conservationists as they dive into new adventures in East Africa and South Africa. Viewers will reconnect with familiar faces like Kenya-based Mysha Hodson, Marita Lucas, Jack Norton-Griffith, Shanah Manjeru, and Adarsh Nagda, as well as South African presenters Atule Mazane, Khahliso Khojane, and Thandolwethu Fani. Together, they tackle fresh conservation challenges and explore innovative ways to protect the planet.

  • Thando, Green Creativity: Thando turns trash into treasure with a creative project at Upcycle in Johannesburg.
  • Beyond the Comfort Zone: Atule & JP: Atule teams up with ocean conservationist Juneid Petersen in Cape Town for a beach cleanup initiative.
  • Khahliso and The Black Mermaid: Khahliso reunites with "The Black Mermaid" to explore marine life at Cape Town’s Two Oceans Aquarium.
  • Jack’s Snake Safari Adventure: Jack embarks on a quest to spot the elusive Hook-nose Beak Snake at Watamu Snake Park.
  • Shanah – Bush, Camera, Action!: Shanah and Marita team up with a wildlife photographer in Nairobi National Park to capture stunning images of local wildlife.
