Aisha started acting in primary school and has been passionate about it ever since. You can see her in action as she plays Nimimi, the wife of Mbura, in the locally produced series Pete.
The series follows the story of a tribal chief's family and the turmoil that ensues when he steps down and someone needs to take his place. As the family comes to terms with the change and the children start to build their lives, only one question remains… Who will take his place? With over two decades of experiences and a ton of awards, Ken has become somewhat of a local acting legend. See what all the fuss is about as he takes on the role of Jaffar in the Kenyan based series Kovu.
Kovu is about a family that moves to Kenya after living in Tanzania for 29 years. What should’ve been a simple move threatens to unravel the family. Ugandan actress Elizabeth Bwamimpeke recently joined the cast of Prestige after being seen in movies like Love Faces, Beneath the Lies and Rain.
The show follows a family that owns two ad agencies. Anger, jealousy and internal fighting are all on the menu. Can you mix business and pleasure? Hannington Bugingo in Mizigo Express
Ugandan comedian, actor, and film producer Hannington Bugingo stars as Sam in this laid-back comedy. Interesting fact: Hannington is also the founding president of The Uganda Comedians Association.
True to his nature, this comedy follows the antics of landlord Kabogozza and his sidekick Sam. You can keep up with their tenants, their ridiculousness and enjoy some light-hearted fun Monday to Wednesday at 19:00 CAT on Pearl Magic, DStv Channel 161.
